People from all classes, castes and sections of society.
It was only during Navratri that women were allowed to take part in the ceremonies and rituals and express their devotion. Given this rare chance and the devotional dance, the women naturally took to the worship with energy and exuberance
They did so through their clothing, their adornment, their dance , their shola and fewer and many shringaars. They fasted in prayer and emotion, then engaged in dances of ecstatic motion and blissful devotion
